Which size to choose?

The Chuck 70 runs large — this is stated by Converse themselves. Take one size down from your usual size. If you usually wear a 42, go for a 41.

Sizes are indicated in European (EU) sizing, from 36 to 46. This is the standard used in France and throughout continental Europe. To convert: an EU 42 corresponds approximately to a UK 8 and a US 8.5 men's.

Care

Clean the canvas by hand, with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. For the off-white rubber foxing, a magic eraser does the trick. No washing machine, no tumble dryer: the vulcanized sole glue won't withstand it and the off-white sole will yellow in the heat. Air dry, away from a radiator.
