Which size to choose?

The Old Skool fits true to size: take your usual size. The toe box is relatively shallow, a common trait across the entire Vans Classics line—if you have wide feet or a high instep, go up half a size (i.e., the next size up in our range).

International sizes

Sizes are indicated in European (EU) sizing, from 36 to 46. This is the standard used in France and across continental Europe. To convert: an EU 42 is roughly equivalent to a UK 8 and a US 9 men's (subtract approximately 34 from the EU size to get the UK size).

Care

Suede should be dry-brushed with a crepe brush or a special suede eraser—never use water, which leaves water marks. The canvas can be cleaned by hand with a damp cloth and mild soap. No washing machine, no tumble dryer: the glue on the vulcanized sole will not withstand it. A suede protector spray applied before the first wear significantly extends its lifespan.
